Rushed of our feet

Hog roast have been so busy lately since the Festive Season we have been rushed of our feet and this year has proven to be so popular so far. We have really been looking forward to Easter and have had a fantastic weekend! It was full steam ahead starting with Good Friday we were west for a joint 18th birthday for twin boys it was an evening event and we were catering for two hundred loud teenagers! The evening went really well and we really couldn’t fill the hungry teens we made chicken kebabs with honey glaze vegetables and dips, steak and onions were also on the menu too. Easter Sunday was really nice and we were close to home an Easter party for residents in an old folks home we were catering for eighty residents and they were lovely, Hog roast hire made burgers and sausages in buns and the old folk loved them, we made some spice crisp wedges and these went down a treat. We brought some home made vegetable soup and soft fresh buns and this was loved to! The old folks had made Easter bonnets and we were asked to judge the competition we had such fun and ended up staying there far longer than first expected! The old folk had lots of stories to tell and we all ended up having a sing song followed by egg painting it really was a lovely day and we feel we made some very special friends. Bank Holiday Monday and it was fun at the seaside and the sun shone too! The local council had hired us to cater for passers by to officially open the new park at the seaside and a great time was had sausage and burgers galore and we catered from the crack of dawn until way past 5! It was a lovely day and the local radio station was there and the local radio station interviewed us which is great publicity for us, yes we have had a lovely Easter and it really did not feel like work, we love our job so much!
