We all thoroughly enjoyed catering at a wedding reception for 300 on Saturday. The venue was in Teesside University’s Student Union – a stunning, brand new, contemporary space for functions & events. We served a fabulous menu of: whole roast hog, slow-roasted Beef Sirloin, Gammon & Lamb with Rosemary roast potatoes and Thyme-roasted seasonal vegetables, and accompaniments for all the meats. Our customer was Dot, mother of the groom and a caterer herself. Dot laid on an amazing seafood table with whole giant Lobster claws, oysters, mussels, mousselines, shell-on prawns – it went on & on – plus a dessert table to die for. She also provided Teesside’s local dish, the Parmo. It really was a fabulous feast. The guests were all lovely, & having a great time – the place was bouncing as we left. And we were home by 9pm! – A great job, topped off by an extremely generous tip from Dot to all six of us!
