This weekend we made the short journey to cater for an afternoon party in Acklam, only 20 minutes away from our base which made a nice change for us. It was a freezing cold icy day but we soon got warmed up by the hog and other hot food in our gazebo. The menu was our Texas Barbeque: Pulled Pork, BBQ Texas Beef, Buffalo wings and Short Ribs, served with Potato Salad, ‘slaw, corn on the cob and fresh bread rolls. The customer Sheila and her guests were very pleased with hog roast Acklam’s food and service, we got lots of thank-you’s and promises for future jobs and recommendations, which is always great. Back home from Acklam in no time afterwards – another good job for hog roast Acklam done and another happy customer!
