Saturday’s event was at a Brancepeth castle . The Bride’s parents and family had worked really hard and transformed what was the ancient room into a beautiful pink & white setting. Against earlier forecasts the weather turned out sunny and warm for hog roast Brancepeth and guests, and arrival drinks and canapes were served in the courtyard with a jazz band playing in the background. The wedding breakfast was held in the castle’s Armour Gallery, full of historical monuments –Hog roast Brancepeth served a hog roast and slow roasted beef sirloin, with all the trimmings, followed by the wedding cake made by the bride’s mother. It was an amazing deep tiered sponge decorated with fresh flowers & fruit, and was served dressed with mixed berries, coulis and Chantilly cream. The evening food was bacon & sausage buns, leftover pork & beef, chutneys and fruit cakes also made by the groom’s mother. There was a great band for the evening and the whole day went off fantastically. What an absolute please these people were to cater for.
