Saturday we were west and catering for a birthday party a 21st birthday and one that we had booked for such a long time and we were there bright and early and catering for three hundred guests Hog Roast had a lovely fresh pig all ready to place onto the machine and we brought lots of chickens and beef too, we were asked to bring some salad and some of our famous dips and sauces and no party would be complete without our famous crackling which we have a secret family recipe which has been passed down by the generations and one we are so proud of. The pig is the main focal point on any occasion and really gets everyone chatting and laughing it really is amazing seeing the pig just spinning gently on the spit and basking in all its glory. We like to arrive in plenty of time as the pig can take several hours to cook and we like it to be just so perfection is key to what we do and anything less just would never ever be acceptable. Hog Roast Hire had everything under control and also we made some jacket potatoes and some fillings jacket potatoes are a firm favourite and a great filler we always bring a large batch with us and they are ideal in case you run out of food and a great little emergency item! When the pig was cooked we started to carve the meat and it just fell apart the pork stays so white and succulent and full of juices. The chicken is also moist and plump and again a great colour, the beef is another meat that cooks to perfection there really is nothing worse than tough beef and you never get that with one of our machines the meat cooks perfectly each and every single time. The lady who was celebrating her birthday came over to personally thank us and we were so touched it really is nice to be thanked in this way and it really means a lot we always aim to deliver a great day and the lady did have a fantastic birthday.
