Remember, remember the 5th of November. It’s a poem that’s been drilled into all of us since early childhood. But Hog Roast Seaham needs no reminder of this all-important day. For us, Guy Fawkes Night, a.k.a. Bonfire Night is one of our busiest times of the year, so it’s a day we always make sure is highlighted in our calendars!
Each and every year, our team receives dozens of booking requests from customers and clients looking to celebrate this annual holiday with a bang (pardon the pun!). And with there being only a few weeks to go before the big day arrives, our phones have been ringing off the hook again lately.
We recently heard from one of our regular clients, Jim, who comes to us every single year at the same time. Being fortunate enough to own a massive back garden, Jim likes to build a massive bonfire every year in celebration of Guy Fawkes’s night, and he welcomes all of his family and friends to come along and let their hair down for an evening of fireworks, lantern-lighting and great food. 
Since he and his guests are always left impressed by Hog Roast Seaham’s food, Jim has made it a tradition to have us handle the catering at his annual bonfire evening. Usually, he will have us serve our Gourmet BBQ Menu, but this year, he has opted for something a little bit different – our Classic Hog Roast Menu.
If you’ve never had a hog roast before, our signature menu is a great place to start. Featuring a whole-roasted pig, cooked to perfection before being carved to reveal an abundance of moist and succulent pork encased in a thick layer of crispy and bubbling crackling, this phenomenal spread is a guaranteed crowd-pleased. This spectacular feast also comes with our homemade sage and onion stuffing, applesauce, gluten-free and wholemeal rolls, fresh salad options, coleslaw and mixed fries, plus a vegan-friendly option for non-meat-eating guests. 
Jim is very much looking forward to trying our trademark spread and has every faith that Hog Roast Seaham and catering manager, Jarrod, will impress him once again!
